Q:  What phone numbers do I call to try to win something?
A:  If you live in the 4-1-5, call 415-478-LIVE.  If you live anywhere else, call 1-800-696-1053.  Oh, and we'll tell you when to call.

Q:  What was that song you guys played, you know the one that…
A:  If you’re listening to LIVE 105 and want to know what we’re currently playing, go to
www.live105.com and the artist/song info should scroll by on the home page.  If you want to know what we played in the past week, click here  http://yes.com/station/KITS.   Or you can call us while the song is actually playing at 415-478-LIVE or 1-800-696-1053.  Do not text or fax us…seriously, does anyone still fax?

Or visit the LIVE 105 "Contact Us" page for everyone's info all located in one convenient, easy to find place. Ta-da!

Q: How can I get in on the presale tickets for that cool show you talked about on the air?
A: LIVE 105 Activists can buy tickets to lots of upcoming shows with LIVE 105 ticket presales. To be a LIVE 105 Activist, click here and fill out the form. Then, keep an eye on your inbox for a confirmation email and you're in! We'll send out an email to you the day before a presale begins so you can buy your tickets before they go on sale to the general public!

Q:  I signed up to be a LIVE 105 Activist but did not receive my presale password…what gives?
A:  You might have entered an invalid email address or registered after we sent out the presale password info. Or, your email's spam filter might have caught our email to you. In any case, you can always log into your account here and the information will be posted the morning before the pre-sale begins, which is usually Thursday at 10am.  If you still have a question about your Activist account, email
web@live105.com and we'll get back to you.

Q:  Where can I send my band’s CD?
A:  LIVE 105 supports local music and plays it on Soundcheck every Sunday night from 7-10pm.  You can mail your CD to:  LIVE 105, ATTN: Local Lounge, 865 Battery Street, SF, CA  94111.  Then listen to Soundcheck, hosted by Aaron Axelsen, every Sunday from 7-10pm.  And you can check out the latest Soundcheck playlist here.

A:  Go to
www.live105.com and first see if the video is on the home page- that's where we like to put our new web stuff right away.  You can also check the Video Archives page for older videos.

Q:  Is LIVE 105 on MySpace?
A:  Yes!  Go to
www.myspace.com/live105theoneandonly and we’d love to be your friend.  But please, no huge band flyers or invitations to get that stupid MySpace tracker or gift cards.  Please note that there are a couple of “fan” sites for LIVE 105 so click on the link above for the official LIVE 105 MySpace.

Q:  How do I contact Stryker or Dr Drew on Loveline?
A:  Call 1-800-LOVE-191 or email
questions@lovelineradio.com.  Loveline is on every night Sunday through Thursday from 10pm-12mid.

Q:  How can I get a LIVE 105 or GOT WOOD sticker?
A:  Send a self-addressed stamped envelope to LIVE 105, ATTN: GOT WOOD STICKER or LIVE 105 STICKER (indicate which one you want), 865 Battery Street, SF, CA 94111.  Then wait.

Q:  I won a prize but haven’t received it yet…what should I do?
A:  Be patient!  Tickets for shows usually don’t get mailed out until the week before the show.  If the show is in two days and you still haven’t received your tickets, call 415-402-6700 and ask for the Promotions Department.  If you won a CD or something else, we try to mail those out ASAP but if it’s been over two or three weeks, call the Promotions Department.

Q:  I have a question about a contest LIVE 105 is currently running, where do I go?
A:  Most of our bigger contests have specific contest rules that can be found on
www.live105.com and the link will usually be on the home page.  For General Contest Rules, click here or check our "Contests and Free Stuff" page - rules are at the bottom of that page.  Please note that age restriction rules are usually beyond our control so if you have to be 18+ or 21+ for a concert or prize, there can be no exceptions.  And yes, you must have a backyard if the prize is Band In Your Backyard!

Q:  I won tickets to a concert but can’t make it, can I give them to a friend?
A:  No.  All prizes won from LIVE 105 are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there are no cash substitutes unless otherwise stated in the contest rules.  If a show is cancelled, you will most likely get tickets to a rescheduled show only and the Promotions Department will contact you with details.

Q:  I won tickets to a show and was told I was on the guestlist, what do I need to get in?
A:  Most venues require a valid CA driver’s license or valid picture ID.  A passport will work too but we don’t recommend bringing a birth certificate with no picture.  Also, please keep in mind that you are at the discretion of the person working the ticket booth.  If you still have a problem getting in or your name is not on the guestlist as you were told, please contact the Promotions Department at 415-402-6700 during regular business hours.  Yes, you might miss the show and we know that sucks but sometimes these things happen and we will try our best to compensate you if someone screwed up.

Q:  My non-profit organization is hosting a charity event.  Can you make an announcement?
A:  Send the essential information (what, where, when, why and website) to
liz@live105.com and we will try our best to get it on the air and in the Community Connection page on www.live105.com.  Also, check out LIVE 105’s Community Connection every Sunday morning at 6am and thanks for caring!

Q:  Do you guys have any jobs available?
A:  From time to time and when we do, we will post what’s available in the Jobs Section.  You can also email a cover letter and resume to
KITSjobs@live105.com and we will keep it on file and contact you if we feel we can utilize your skills.  If you are sending an MP3 of your on-air skills, please make sure it is under 3MB (under 60 seconds of audio).  No phone calls please.  For a complete list of jobs at LIVE 105 and other CBS radio stations (and an overview of radio station positions), go to www.cbsradio.com/careers/index.html.  Good luck!

Q:  How do I apply for an internship?
A:  Send a cover letter and resume listing your educational and employment history to KITS
jobs@live105.com.  Please note that you must be currently enrolled in college (summer classes OK) and must be able to get school credit for the internship.  Internships are for one school quarter or semester.  We do not offer “day or week internships” and we appreciate your offer to “come in and do anything” but we already have peeps who do that!

Q:  Is Miles The Intern really an intern?
A:  No, he just couldn’t shake the name after we hired him…plus it has a nice ring to it, don’t ya think?

Q:  Still have a question?
A:  Go here!
