many many many bars in SF. bar none is the sister bar of well.... bar none in nyc! a beer swillers paradise! pitchers oh beer at a reasonable price! this place has the beerpong tables set up all the time - chuck and frank - 2 of the coolest dudes on the planet - they love beer - they love beer drinkers - i've had many a beer binge at bar none - last night was good times! miltary night - pleasure of meeting army ranger russ! and hell a marine named timmy even won the tix to metallica! god bless those who serve! needless to say THE DIRTY NASTY once again stole the show with his MAGIC! even busted out some new tricks! DAM! juan - james (congrats on the baby) tk - the dudes from ace cider, those damn tatsey tater tots! sky girls! steve a from fog city repin! just damn good times! if you stop by ask chuck to check out the no name skull behind the bar! i feel immortalized!

1st off i'm constantly amazed at how cool LIVE 105 listeners are! met tons of cool people! anyway enough ass kissin! i arrived at the fancy santana row - can't believe the flesh fest there! man it was like a super model runway - anyway rosie mccanns is an irish style pub/restauarnt (get the bacon wrapped prawns) def. a higher end drinking establishment - there is also one in santa cruz- the gm mike - was a super cool dude also had a very pleasant staff - shouts to joesph and fee-( bartenders!) of course ya can't go wrong with $2.00 drafts from bud! ha! also gotta say word to tom from cbeyond! also SJ legend BRENT from BEER RUN SKATEBOARDS/DIESEL QUEENS - have'nt seen that dude in like 10 years! he's still rulin it! only bummer was leaving! next time SAN JOSE we rock on a friday or sat. and get 408 dirty! thanks for the good times! - no name

you know when you're giving a public rant on the chinese and the railroad in chinatown at 3:30am something went right! the good time on sat. started in MT. VIEW! I had not drank in mt. view in awhile - last time was this mexican place on castro - we never made it inside - just out on the sidewalk seating - which is unique - suprised there are not more problems with drunks drinking on the sidewalk...anyway ST. STEPHEN'S GREEN - is a traditional irish pub /fish and chips were recommened and lots of people said they have the best burger in mt. view - i was too busy drinkin the $2 drafts! they had tvs playing soccer and rugby and later the cal game.... i guess normally thursday nights are peruvian night! who knew! overall i nice bar lay out - the sound system was soooo quiet! i guess some of the staff got busted for playing inappropriate music at inappropriate times so they only had 2 channels of satellite radio - that played way mellow music - needless to say this was not to be had - so somehow we scronged up a moterhead cd - so for 2 hours distorted motorhead blasted from blown out dance speakers! things started to get a little sloppy rather quick - thanks to a dude named seans 92% shot of i can't remember and some goldschlager - and of course the $2 pints o bud - some dude named miguel schooled me not once but twice in a chug off - flowers were given - break dancing was on - cool people were met! 8pm came super fast and it was off to SF where i collided with Mr. BINGS and the LIVE 105 drinkin crew bodies hit the floor- off to SAMS - BOW BOW! 4am came quick! always strange goin to bed when you normally are wakin up!

Kirbys…man…when I close my eyes and think of Kirbys I can almost taste the beer and the gasoline that the owner James gave me! This dude rules he is like a drinkin yoda like a spiritual booze advisor – “go big go deep” that’s the bars motto! I guess to sum it up kirbys kicks ass – it’s a bar bar – if there was a theme for the bar it would be sports bar – tons of tvs with every game playin – but not in a sterile way – more like hanging in your living room with 100 of your friends way – but at the heart of kirbys and the theme/impression I stumbled away with is this is a drinking bar! My kind of bar! They serve massive steins of beer – drinks with a heavy pour – and fat shots! Chuck the bar keep is a pro and makes you feel welcomed – in fact the entire staff was cool! Happy birthday chava! Its always a good feeling when you roll into a place at 6pm on a Thursday – the place is packed with people DRINKING – not like a casual beer – but DRINKING! Not sure I’ve been to a bar where I’ve had more conversations with different people about hot rods and motorcycles! GREAT PEOPLE! Shouts to Fremont THC – Rick from custom tile services (the dude that stole your tour pack should be hung) beer drinkin Paul! Alright bar nite season is defintely pickin up! I have been to Blakes several times in the past - in fact i've actually been kicked out of Blakes a few times! (for good reason) always cool bartenders always a real cool staff not to mention good food! some crew from 5 star meats were there early - so you know things were gonna get nutty! (sorry to miss the party at godspeed) we got the new nonameshow stickers dropped off half way thru the bar nite so we were extra excited! telegraph always has good memories for me.. when i was a wee lad me and my brother would bus in from san ramon to the walnut creek bart (shop at the record exchange) then bart to berkeley to telegraph and go record shoppin all day! hung with some of the local gutter punks, met amy from cal performances - bali - drew - shane - boot - shaggin waggin - bunch of real real cool people - the capper of course was mkotc representing and THE DIRTY NASTY doin his magic! he just got out of jail after spending 10 days in lock down! literally the first thing he did was roll to Blakes to party with the NNS! very touching! also it was muth f'in ROBS birthday! Damn good times BLAKES! Thanks East Bay for making a thursday night good times!

dang! What a great neighborhood bar! i've rolled san mateo ave before ya got steves camaros - k-119! i dont know how i never stopped by Newells! open 6am to 2am 7 days a week! BAR BAR! filled with kick ass people! jack bartender pours a hefty shot! be warned! needless to say the crew that rolled were beer drinkers by 7pm they were pourin the pints into plastic cups - because they ran out of pint glasses! it was also matts first bar nite at live 105 - lots of good feelings and words were exchanged! winners all around bob, ed "id" santos, trevor (marine with 5 tours under his belt) will, iron worker dude, airport worker dudes, hot rod maniacs, hyphy mike, mt. view wrecking crew, - not to mention the DIRTY NASTY doin his thang - YOUR MAGIC IS REAL!!! - we hyped up the slaughter house at spookfest with FCW and the morning show melee! Katie is def. the crowd favorite!!! what can i say SAN BRUNO was a blast! special shouts to the SBPD!

big party weekend in SF! ya had octoberfest - lovefest (drugfest) - bluegrass fest - noname beerfest - things usually get pretty sloppy on a weekday bar nite - move the general party vibe to a sat and well it gets extra sloppy! GRANT and GREEN - is a north beach establishment - where things always get a little out of control.....jen and her man from 707 won the metallica tix! linda - dave - troy - mike - miquel - juan - 1995 victoria - socal beerpong crew - steve and mo - thanks for the fun! i think matt our newest show member is gonna be banned from bar nites for the sake of his marriage - always bad when an event is from 6 to 8 on a sat night and you get home at noon on sunday! ha!

oh man! oh man! 3rd friday is the best! SAN JOSE is always a party! always good when you wake up on a garage floor and not sure how you got there with an $87.00 reciept from jack in the box in your pocket! WTF! did i buy everyone tacos? i LOVE 3rd fridays - everyone i meet there is cool and there to party! its like meeting a bunch of friends you never knew you had! crappy music was played metallica tix were rewarded! me and matt ended up at the cinebar where we started boxing in the middle of the bar - getting ready for the slaughter house at spookfest! i fell off my bar stool - that was the sign it was time to leave - so apparently i ended up at jack in the box - and woke up on the floor at sellers equipped! ha! see u next third friday 11/20 @ the voodoo SAN JOSE -!!!!
