In loving memory of Matthew Sardinia (3/19/1987 - 9/20/2009)
Matthew Sardinia Born March 19, 1987 was a lifelong resident of Castro Valley having attended Vannoy Elementary, Canyon Middle School and graduated Castro Valley High School in 2006. Upon graduation, he was awarded a scholarship to California College of the Arts in San Francisco where he was currently enrolled and taking classes. He is survived by his parents Judy and Manny, his brother Robbie and his grandmother Dorothea Osborne. Matt's tenacity, his smile, and his creative spirit will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
May you truly rest in peace dear Matty.

The Castro Valley Rotary Club, in conjunction with local East Bay merchants, announces the Valley Blues Festival, a new event happening on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

The No Name Show says SUPPORT YOUR TROOPS!
Operation:S.A.M. is a non-profit organization that sends packages to our troops
to show our support to those deployed all over the world, especially those
deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They are operated by a group of dedicated volunteers and their families.
They all have a mutual bond of respect and appreciation for the men and women who are unselfishly placing themselves in harm's way.

100 CLUB The Martin C. Kauffman 100 Club of Alameda County is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit charitable organization providing immediate financial support to spouses of police officers and fire fighters that are killed in the line of duty in Alameda County . The Club also provides college scholarships for the children of the police officers and fire fighters killed in the line of duty in Alameda County.
The Club was founded in 1974 by Martin C. Kauffman and has grown to over 900 members. Learn more about this organization here.
