BFD- The Faint

The Faint are from Omaha, Nebraska and are one of the biggest underground synth-pop acts in the world today. Fellow Nebraskan Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes used to be a member and now both bands share the label Saddle Creek Records. The Faint’s breakthrough album Danse Macabre found them critical and commercial success and was followed by two more including Wet from Birth in 2004. The Faint are known for their spectacular live shows, including two sold out shows at the Fillmore. If you’re a fan of bands like New Order, Depeche Mode and The Cure or new electro-influenced bands like The Killers or Ladytron, then you can’t miss The Faint when they headline the Festival Stage at BFD!
