Check back soon for the Local Music Workshop podcast, featuring Aaron Axelsen and industry experts who participated in our Workshop panel.  This year's Local Music Workshop panelists included:

JORDAN KURLAND, Zeitgeist Management/Noise Pop ----- SF's own Jordan Kurland manages such notable acts as Death Cab for Cutie, Feist, Rogue Wave and Street to Nowhere, as well as organizing one of SF's most vaunted music festivals Noise Pop

RICK MUELLER, Live Nation, SF ----- One of the Bay Area's most important architects of live music and concerts, Rick helps orchestrate pretty much every big concert you've ever attended, including booking and overseeing legendary local venues like The Shoreline, Oakland Coliseum, Bill Graham Civic, Warfield, etc.

ADAM CARSON, AFI ----- Drummer of the platinum-selling punk rock outfit and Northern California native Adam will most definitely have some great early AFI tales to tell as well as providing an interesting road map of how AFI went from playing the Gilman to headlining BFD!

HALEY JONES, Red Distribution/Sony Music ----- Haley Jones, former radio station Music Director, now works in artist development and promotion for a major record label/distribution company that has the mentality, business model and grass roots sensibility of an indie label! She personally works with several exciting emerging artists and projects, including Pucifer (Maynard of Tool's latest project), Peter, Bjorn and John, Rodridgo Y Gabriela, Chiodos and more.

DANA KAMIAN, Slim's/Great American Music Hall ----- Booking agent for not only two of the most reputable music venues in San Francisco, but recognized as two of the best live music clubs in the country! Dana will be answering one of the most-asked questions from the music scene: "How the hell do I get booked at Slim's or GAMH?" and disclosing what important attributes she looks for in a band!

SHANE TOBIN, Imeem ----- In this important new DIY world of digital media and social networking services, Shane will discuss how Imeem plays a pivotal role in helping take your band to the next level and will provide some advice on how to successfully navigate through a sea of options.
